We picked up our self -addressed package at the Logrono post office and are very happy to now have a protein start to the day and corn huskers balm for feet. Plus gorp and toothpaste that we had run out of..
David punctured and threaded 3 blisters by 9:30 am and Leslie was dragging as not much sleep in hot night in hostel with no AC.
Happy to have another hostel bed. In with a group of Canadians and some Australians and 2 bikers. The picture shown is of an area where in the fence along the highway Peligrinos have made crosses and left them along with prayers. David made our cross as I was really dragging at that point. Our friends E2 were even too wiped to join us for dinner.
Maybe more notes later as to the sights, but exhaustion has hit again. We had wanted to find a private room so we could catch up on the sleep we lost with the heat and snoring last night but we crawled in at 3:30pm , so we were lucky to find a bunk bed. 2 places were full as we came in.
Even getting Dinner early, before 8 pm is hard.
This is a very meaningful experience but definitely not a walk in the park. We think it would be a good pre nuptial test experience!
